AUCKLAND (PRN Online/Pacific Media Watch): In a dawn ceremony today, Maori Television launched its Te Reo digital channel on the last day of the world's first indigenous television broadcasting conference.

Broadcasters from Fiji, the Cook Islands and Hawaii are in Auckland attending this week's WITBC for indigenous broadcasters. They have joined indigenous broadcasters from the Asian, African and American continents as well as Europe.
Pacific Radio News Reporter Aaron Taouma was there.
